The incredibly talented actor, Chris Evans, debuted in 1997 with Biodiversity: Wild About Life! While he got an opportunity to play in multiple big-blockbuster films of all time, he has also played in a couple of small productions. Yet, his acting power has always remained the same and at its peak.
The actor is praised mostly for playing Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s films. Apparently, there isn’t any doubt why people love Evans as Captain America, but, the actor has also played in some other movies that were indeed fantastic. Here are the ten of them –
Before We Go (2014)
Chris Evans not only played a prominent role in the 2014 released film Before We Go, but he also directed it. The story of the film followed Evans as Nick and Alice Eve as Brooke who met at the Grand Central Terminal. There, both of them spend time together retrieving the details about Brooke’s purse and thus, starts knowing each other.
The Losers (2010)

The Red Sea Diving Resort (2019)

It is the second one on the list that is also based on a true story. Chris Evans played the role of Mike Weiss who is a lawyer and a drug addict as well. The story revolves around an event where Evans sued a nurse who contrasts AIDs after getting pricked by a needle that was contaminated.
In this film, Chris Evans played a character called Frank, a guardian to Mary, his niece. Gifted follows the story about the custody battle between Evans and Mary’s mother. While the film wasn’t a blockbuster, the emotional story and sensational acting by Evans make it a must-watch.
The Iceman (2012)
The Iceman is the third true story film on the list. The movie echoes a story about a hitman, Richard Kuklinski, a character played by Michael Shannon. With that said, Evans played the role of Mr. Freezy, AKA Robert Pronge, a fellow hitman. His character was indeed intriguing and hence, makes it a worthy watch.
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (2010)
It looks like Chris Evans likes to play characters from the fantasy world and comic books. This film was based on a comic book of the same name and the story follows Scott who is trying to defeat the seven evils (out of which one is Chris Evans’ character).
Knives Out (2019)
Knives Out was a superhit and it was Evans played Hugh Drysdale in the movie. It is perhaps one of the most intriguing characters that he has played so far in his career. The movie is all about a murder mystery that also includes some bits and pieces of comedy in it.
Chris Evans played Curtis Everett in Snowpiercer. He was one of the lower class sections of the train carrying humanity after the attempt to stop global warming failed. Evans’ character attempts to lead a revolution in the train to overshadow the elite section and it is what makes him stand different from the crowd.
Superpower Dogs (2019)
It is perhaps the highest-rated film of Chris Evans’ career and follows the story of four dogs who thrives to help humans and save lives. Not exactly a film, but it’s more of a documentary that got a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
