To be very honest, there are some superheroes who have some great powers but they don’t seem to fit! Maybe instead, they need to swap abilities with others in order to reach their full potential.
Plenty of comic books stories over the last eight decades have featured stories where the powers of their main characters had changed.
For example, Superman’s abilities shifted through continuity and the imaginary tales.

And the upcoming series What If…? by Marvel on Disney+ is all set to reveal what would have happened if the Fantastic Four team had gained different powers.

And what if these heroes needed to swap their powers?

By that, we don’t mean Rogue from X- Men absorbing the powers and strengths of someone else.

It’s more like someone else taking on the attributes of another because they can handle them better.

1.  Deathstroke And Deadpool Switching Powers Is Unavoidable

Slade Wilson and Wade Wilson should be definitely switching powers.
Maybe just one main power.
For the most part, the two mercenaries have similar skills and when it comes to agility and the weapons they use.
But there is one thing that Slade doesn’t have as Deathstroke and that is the mutant healing power.
With this ability, he is nearly as immortal as Deadpool.
And is is probably one reason he engages in some dangerous situations.
Slade taking up the power would hopefully lighten him a bit

2. Imagine Wonder Woman With Wonderful Powers Of Captain Marvel

These two are probably the strongest female characters out there and have powers that are equal to each other, but there is still a reason why the Amazonian Princes should use Carol Danvers’ powers.

She would not only experience what an almost omnipotence means but she could also understand Superman’s responsibilities to maintain the galaxy’s safety!

Diana has taken a journey to space with Justice League but most of her solo adventures are on Earth or Godly realms.

3. Zatanna Could Handle Chaos Magic Better Than Scarlet Witch

Zatanna DC and Scarlet Witch Marvel.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=737&h=368&dpr=1

Comics “Avengers Disassembled” and House of M had truly revealed the weakness of Wanda Maximoff. Wanda doesn’t have control over her powers, and they do out of hand. Her chaos magic has triggered a new reality for Marvel superheroes. And when that doesn’t work, she uses it to destroy the mutant community.

Zatanna is equal or maybe more powerful than Wanda and is also a great spell holder. She can take control while Scarlet Witch turns how to cast backward incantations.

4. Superman Could Use Shazam’s Magical Powers

superman shazam.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=737&h=368&dpr=1

Shazam has the wisdom of Solomon, but he’s still a young kid with an adult body.
And even with all his experience, he has some teenage overconfidence.
And on the other hand, Kal-El is an adult. He knows how to control his abilities.
He has always kept all his powers in check since he started his career. Thus it would make sense for Superman to swap with Shazam and take his magical powers.

5.  Steel Can Do A Great Job With Iron Man’s Armour

Steel Iron Man.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=737&h=368&dpr=1

There is no doubt that John Henry Irons is a brilliant engineer, and if he wasn’t he wouldn’t have come up with his fantastic battle armor and become Steel after Superman’s death.
However, he doesn’t have the imagination of Tony Stark.
Iron Man had constructed so many versions that we have lost count and each one has an upgrade that enhances his abilities!
And he doesn’t require any additional weapons to beat up others.

6. Give Hulk’s Powers To The Thing

Hulk and the Thing have been frenemies since the 1960s. And most of their meetings resulted in a dragging fight. And in between the no-nonsense tactics of Benn Grimm and the savagery of one of Bruce Banner’s personalities.
Just imagine if they swap powers, The Thing needs to get stronger as he gets angrier and Hulk has smart comebacks.

7. Blue Beetle Is In Need Of The Powers Of Spider-Man

Power Swap Blue Beetle Spider Man.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=737&h=368&dpr=1

For those who don’t know this interesting fact; Spider-Man and Ted Kord’s Blue Beetle were co-created by the same man; Steve Ditko!
And though they have quite different origins and even pay scales; they both are heroes at the end of the day.
But Ted relies on gadgets while Peter utilizes powers created by the radioactive spider bite.
However; Blue Beetle has had his share of bad luck due to his lack of super strength or sixth sense. He was killed by his former boss; Maxwell Lord. So maybe in pity; if not in good, Ted and Peter need to swap powers.

8. Ultra Boy Handling Sentry’s Powers

Power Swap Ultra Boy and Sentry.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=737&h=368&dpr=1

Ultra Boy is a member of DC’s Legion of Super-Heroes and he has all the powers of his friend Mon-El. But still, he can only use his super-strength, speed, and invulnerability at one time, thus he is great at switching between powers in few split seconds.
And that is why it’s no surprise that he is not only a great but even a potential candidate to swap abilities with Marvel’s Sentry.
During all his appearances, Robert Reynolds is portrayed as a hero who doesn’t think about his actions. Ultra Boy is better at controlling Sentry’s full power and is always carefully doing it when needed.

9. Quicksilver Should Get Flash’s Speed Force

Quicksilver Flash.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=737&h=368&dpr=1

Quicksilver needs to take over the immense strengths of the Flash. Barry Allan or Wally West,  have to continue to have problems with the Speed Force.
Though it gives Flash some amazing momentum, it’s more of a burden to the DC hero.
And there are strong chances that Pietro can properly manifest the Speed Force thanks to his combination of mutant genes and High Evolutionary’s Isotope E.

10.  Marvel Girl Taking Over Invisible Woman’s Powers

Marvel Girl and Ms. Marvel.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=737&h=368&dpr=1

Susan Storm aka the Invisible Woman of the Fantastic Four gang needs to swap powers with Jean Grey aka the X-Men’s Marvel Girl.
Both of these ladies handle their respective powers very well and have great skills.
But Susan knows how to utilize them without dying.
And Jean has died several times… If nothing else, Marvel Girl needs Invisible Woman’s powers so she can hide from a villain intent on her destruction.
