Last month saw the release of Mortal Kombat 11 via PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Beyond a bit of controversy about the progression of the game, it went well enough for the developer, ie. NetherRealm Studios. The game has been sold and received well by players and we believe that’s all one can hope for. Since the launch, players have been more desperate for information on what follows in the game. In simpler words, the only DLC character announced until now is Shang Tsung, who got revealed before the launch. It looks like all of that may change soon enough: that is, next week.
NetherRealm Will Announce All DLC Characters Next Week
The creative director Ed Boon took to Twitter to reveal that and if everything goes as planned, the fighters will be soon announced by NetherRealm. This will be in part of the first Kombat Pack of the game.
Fingers Krossed…. if all goes well, next week we will be announcing the fighters that will be joining Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 11’s DLC !! pic.twitter.com/ewaRTZFUji

As one may notice, Boon suggests that all characters part of the first DLC wave will be announced all at once. Sadly, he hasn’t revealed what characters they would be or who would get added from the likes of Joker, Sindel, Terminator, Nightwolf, Sheeva, Spawn, Fujin and Ash Williams. However, one should take this list with a grain of salt.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
