3 ‘Announced’ Superhero Movies We Think Will Hit The Theaters (And Two we Don’t)

There have been so many movies that are already in development from many studios; whether it’s Marvel, Sony, Fox or Warner Bros. All these studios are already in the pursuit of releasing their respective superhero films in a hope to dominate the box office.

Keeping in mind the rise of superhero films in the past one year, it’s really important for the studios to get their version of superhero/villains right. Today we will tell you about three Announced movies that we will definitely see in the theatres. (And two we might not)

Will: Black Adam

It has been quite some time since DCEU announced the making of a Black Adam film starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in the film’s titular role.

Johnson will not be appearing in the DC’s upcoming Shazam! but we assume that his movie in under-development and might be branded as the sequel to Shazam!

Won’t: Nightwing

When we heard about a film about Nightwing under works, it did raise a lot of eyes. Warner Bros has always seemed persistent in bringing more of the Bat-family on the big screen. While the character of Dick Grayson can give the makers an opportunity to provide an interesting take on the character but it seems highly doubtful that Warner Bros will actually make a movie on this.

A Batman film by Matt Reeves is said to be already under-works but the film will not feature Nightwing.

Will: Deadpool/X-Force

Post Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox’s assets, it’s still unclear how Marvel would like to go about a character like Deadpool, given its R-rated content. However, we still have one Deadpool sequel yet to release whether you call it Deadpool 3 or X-Force.
With Fox previously doing well with the character in the films, the studio will definitely look forward to making better use of the X-Force and Deadpool in a better way.

Won’t: Kitty Pryde

Fox hasn’t come up with a solo X-Man film other than Wolverine yet but when they announced their plans to make a film on Kitty Pryde, the decision did come out as an interesting choice for a character.

However, the chances of a Kitty Pryde film seem as dim as that of Gambit and sadly, we Wills never see the character on the big screen.

Will: Silk

Sony recently announced that it’s planning to release more films based on Spider-Man characters and Silk seems like one of those characters. While plans for a Silver Sable and Black Cat film seem to get trashed now, Silk seems like a strong possibility.

However, many fans do argue that the film would be better if the character got integrated with Holland’s Spider-Man in the MCU.
