He convinced Scarlet that Avengers and Tony Stark were the ones behind the destruction of her country. Later, when she joined the Avengers team, she fell in love with the Vision. However, both of them lost each other after having the very first battle with the Mad Titan. When Wanda reappeared in Avengers: Endgame, her powers took an exponential growth. As a result, she became eligible to take Thanos down all alone.
