From drastic wrestling to some unlikely alliances, Bane and Bruce Wayne had quite an intriguing enmity in the DC Comic world. Over the last couple of years, Bane has got an opportunity to get featured as one of the most prominent villains to Batman. One such hallmark for the character has been the Knightfall where the plot offered the character an iconic panel to go down a fight with Bruce Wayne’s Batman. However, despite having such a violent background all the way, both the characters have had some unlikely situations as well. Bane Has A Phobia Of Bats

1990 released, Knightfall, highlighted the fact that Bane had a phobia of Bats during his young days. Moreover, it was a giant Bat who once used to haunt Bane in his dreams. With that being said, when Bane arrived in Gotham City, he got to meet Batman and become sure that this character will bring some sort of fate to him. He also believed that the character will help him defeat and overcome his fear of Bats.

Bane Got Defeated By The New Batman

When Batman got broken and defeated by Bane in Knightfall, Bane thrived to the assassination of Jean-Paul Valley. As a result, Azrael got heavily injured while facing Bane initially. However, by the end, an alternate version of Batman showed up who was way smarter than the former one. This version of the classic Batman was referred to as the ‘New Batman.’ He got metallic armor, metal gauntlets, sharp projectile weapons, and a smarter brain to manage someone like Bane.

While Bane was searching for his father, a priest echoed loud that there is a high possibility that an American doctor is Bane’s real or say biological father. When Bane researched more on this American doctor, he found that he is Batman’s father Thomas Wayne who once visited Santa Prisca. As a result, Bane came to the conclusion that he is somehow a brother to Bruce Wayne’s Batman.

In Gotham Knights, Bane comes to know that it was King Snake who was his father during the Veritas Liberat. However, the anti-hero side of Bane got awakened when he decided to put a barrier on his father’s plans. In the meanwhile, Batman also reaches the same place, and the two teams up to fight against King Snake. With that being said, when King Snake thrives to shoot Batman, it was Bane who jumps in between and tries to protect Bruce Wayne. What a scene it was!

Last but not least, Bane is indeed villainous but got both brawn and brain together. With that being said, in Bane of the Demon, the story and plot highlighted that Bane had some sort of an eidetic memory that allowed the villain to recall the images and scenes after experiencing it for once. Furthermore, during Knightfall, Bane carefully observed Wayne and everyone Batman encountered in Gotham City. As a result, within one year, Bane managed to discover every bit and piece of Batman’s alter ego.
