As per sources, actress Jennifer Aniston threw a secret party at her $21 million Bel Air property over the weekend. The guest list included stars who were well-known in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Sandra Bullock, Bradley Cooper, David Spade, Tobey Maguire, and Mark Duplass were present at the party. The FRIENDS star also invited her co-stars, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow. Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos and IAC chairperson Barry Diller also attended the party.
The party was for the “old guard of Hollywood“
A source revealed that the majority of the people who attended the party were A-list celebrities who were active roughly 15-20 years ago. Most of them took a break from acting while some are still trying to be relevant. A source revealed that the “joke of the night” was that all the guests who were at the party referred to themselves as the “old guard of Hollywood.”
Everyone seemed to have a good time and the guests “didn’t pull out their cellphones” and only focused on enjoying the night. The source concluded by saying that it was an “old-school, fun party” filled with “non-thirsty” VIPs.
Jennifer Aniston recently lost her father
Last month, Jennifer Aniston lost her father, Greek-born American actor John Aniston. The death of the veteran star was announced by Jennifer Aniston on her Instagram on 11th November. The actress posted an old picture of herself with her father and wrote,
“Sweet papa… John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain. And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now I’ll love you till the end of time.”
John Aniston was 89 at the time of his death. At one point in his career, he became one of the most renowned soap opera stars in the world. He became a household name thanks to his role as Victor Kiriakis on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives for more than three decades.
