The official trailer of the Cobra Kai season 4 is finally here. It hints at a new character that could show up as the answer to Tory. Here’s why the new member joined their dojo.
As the trailer of the Cobra Kai season 4 shows up, it is possible that this new character could become the good guys’ answer to Tory. The character of Tory Nichols is played by Peyton List and is originally one of the students of Johnny. But apparently, his expulsion from Jai and Kreese’s takeover placed her on the side of the villains.
Tory Is The Path To Win All-Valley Karate Tournament
Tory is perhaps one of the most significant weapons Kresse has against Eagle Fang Karate and Miyagi-do. How important this character is to Kreese was proved when he made efforts to keep her at the Cobra Kai. At the same time, it is not very difficult to understand what all Kreese sees in her. With that said, her fierce toughness, competitiveness, ruthlessness, and confidence in combat make her such an important asset to the Kobra Kai roster. With all her skills and intention towards success, there remains no doubt that why Tory is one of the best paths to victory for Kreese in the next tournament.
Who Is The New Character?
Cobra Kai could end up with a healthy counterpart to Tory. It could happen in the form of Oona O’Brien’s Devon that is a character who is now officially confirmed to play in season 4. It is generally believed that Devon was briefly teased on season 4’s trailer and the viewers could see a shot of Johnny and Daniel observing a gymnast.
Based on the glimpse, it seems like the character is Devon as she is the only potential recruit for their joint dojo. While no official statement has been released, reports echo that she (Devon) is a “potential new karate student who is relentlessly competitive, a quick study, and equally quick-tempered when she’s provoked.”
With that said, Cobra Kai season 4 is all set for a premiere on 31st December 2021.
