Hollywood has blessed us with some great actors and they, in return, have given us some great movies. However, the world somewhat thinks that these actors are overrated, as compared to some other actors. Well, that might be true for them, but these actors are genuinely good. Of course, the line separating them from other actors is very thin, and that is where the difference lies. These actors, like Dwayne Johnson, Meryl Streep, etc., have proved their worth in the entertainment industry and will continue to do so. 1. Adam Sandler

One cannot deny the timing of this guy whatsoever. Many people think that Sandler is extremely overrated but that’s not the case. The Grown Ups actor has given us some great movies over the years and his recent, Uncut Gems, was a fast-paced thriller with off-beat humour. He has blessed us with some good movies and we hope he continues to do. Contrary to popular beliefs, he is a good actor and deserves some love. Considering comedy to be a subjective topic, one cannot please everyone and that is just the case with Adam Sandler.

2. Bradley Cooper

There was a time when Bradley Cooper had taken the world by storm. This came in effect to his promising acting and impeccable looks. However, Cooper has somewhat faded with time but you cannot deny that he has given us some classics. Movies like Limitless, American Hustle, Wet Hot American Summer, Guardians of the Galaxy, etc., only prove that the actor is still fresh and will remain so. Some people have run past him but he still stands strong.

3. Jeremy Renner

Times have changed for Jeremy Renner now that he had his Disney+ series for his Marvel character, Hawkeye. He has been a part of some great movies like American Hustle, Arrival, The Avengers franchise, and of course, American Hustle. It was the latter one in which he proved that he can drive out of his Marvel role and prove his other dynamics.

4. Dwayne Johnson

There are many people that think Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was good when he was in WWE. They think that he is a 2D actor and doesn’t provide much to his movies. But that is not the case. The actor has so much star power that he can make almost any movie a hit. Just like Tom Cruise, he has stuck to hardcore action films and he is all ready to shake the world once again with DC’s Black Adam.

5. Meryl Streep

People think that Streep is now getting old and should retire. But that is far from happening right now. By giving us movies like The Post, Mamma Mia!, and The Devil Wears Prada, she has broadcasted to the world that she is one of the finest actors ever. Moreover, her recent film, Don’t Look Up is nothing but purely entertaining and she looks stunning in it. She deserves all the credit in the world.
