The highly publicized legal drama between the ex-couple lasted for six weeks ending in Johnny Depp being awarded $10.4 million in damages by the court. Since there has been news that the Aquaman actress might file another case to overrule the court’s order, recent reports show that the actress is going through a hard time.

During an interview with Savannah Guthrie on NBC’s Dateline today’s show, Amber Heard was reportedly talking about second thoughts on making any further legal action against her ex-husband Johnny Depp. The Aquaman actress revealed that she took for granted what she assumed was right. 

“I took for granted what I assumed was my right to speak, not just what I lived through but what I knew.”

The Aquaman actress later added about her legal actions against the Pirates Of The Caribbean star and admitted that she is “terrified”. While concluding she said, “I guess that’s what a defamation lawsuit is meant to do, it’s meant to take your voice.”

With all the legal drama, there have also many reports on Amber Heard filing for bankruptcy and having a hard time managing her finances. Reportedly, the Aquaman actress also tried to sneak in the help of her insurance company to repay the debts that she has to pay Johnny Depp.
