The well-known ex-couple, who dominated the internet until May 27, 2022, with their defamation case, is still in the press as a result of something or other coming to light. The former couple engaged in a highly publicized legal battle that lasted six weeks and ended with the court awarding Johnny Depp $10.4 million in damages. Recent speculations, however, suggest that the actress from Aquaman experienced panic episodes as a result of Johnny Depp. The defamed actress allegedly endured severe mental suffering to the verge of losing weight as a result of the claimed assault by the Pirate of the Caribbean actor.
Amber Heard had panic attacks due to Johnny Depp
Dr. Dawn Hughes, Amber Heard‘s personal psychologist, have made startling admissions that the actress lost 25 pounds and Johnny Depp has been dubbed as the true reason for it. She pointed out that the actress’ weight dropped by 25 pounds during her marriage to Johnny Depp, causing her to drop from 130 pounds to 105 pounds.
She even discussed the medication-induced panic allegedly experienced by the actress and blamed the Pirates of the Caribbean actor for contributing to it all by “not staying clean” and his irrational outbursts. She also claimed during the defamation lawsuit hearing that “When alcohol and drugs came together was when Amber Heard was more in danger of being hurt by him.”
People not believing in Amber Heard was traumatic for her
Dr. Dawn Hughes also mentioned that although, the Aquaman actress did participate in verbal and physical altercations, but claimed that Johnny Depp was responsible for a bigger piece of it. She also stated that “The one thing women are afraid of is that no one going to believe them. When someone comes out and calls your experience a hoax that lends itself to more severe trauma for her.” pointing that people not believing in the actress has caused her severe mental damage
The actress suffers from borderline personality disorder
It is noteworthy that Dr. Dawn Hughes’ testimony conflicted with that of Johnny Depp’s expert. The 21 Jump Street actor’s legal team in turn claimed that Amber Heard was faking her symptoms. They even accused the actress of having a borderline and histrionic personality disorder. There is yet to be evidence provided by the claims of both the sides but it seems that there would be no update on it until there happens to be another legal court case between the two in the future.
