Are Shakira and Pique Together Again? Former Couple Reportedly Meeting at Bahamas, Fuel Patch-up Rumours

Updates on Shakira and Gerard Pique have been a rollercoaster ride ever since Pique’s cheating rumors came out to the fore. The couple, 12 years in the making and after 2 kids, split up owing to Pique’s infidelity. They began dating in 2010 and about a couple of months earlier, it was found out that Pique was having an affair with a mystery woman – a 22-year-old blonde. Ever since the split, Shakira’s life has been a waking nightmare with stalkers and paparazzi hovering around ruining the very essence of personal life for her.

Shakira and Pique decide to have a family holiday for the sake of their kids

The ex-couple are currently embroiled in a legal battle for the custody of their kids, and a lot, apart from the score, remains to be settled between the two. Needless to say, their children are the top priority for both Shakira and Pique, and like every separated couple, they don’t want the little ones to bear the brunt of their relationship problems.

To follow through on their commitment to making the transition to a broken home easier for the kids, Pique, Shakira, and the kids are reportedly going on a family vacation. It was also revealed by a Mexican show Chisme No Like that Shakira and Pique are meeting in the United States on August 4 to discuss the final essentials and details regarding the whole hullabaloo.

The ex-couple are calling their family rendezvous a “little holiday”. Chisme No Like shared, “It’s crazy. They’re going on holiday to the Bahamas. They are going to play happy family, and on their return to Spain they will sign the separation.”

Safe to assume, that it won’t be a conventional family holiday with tensions running high, and probably a lot of fake smiling and pretended cordiality.

Will there be a reconciliation?

Meanwhile, before the slated vacation, there is a series of pre-season matches for Barcelona FC for which the Barcelona defender will be in the United States.

One never knows, the holiday might sound like reconciliation bells for the ex-couple but every possibility is just a question of ifs and buts.
