It was recently revealed by an Avengers star that he’d be returning for two more Marvel films, including Marvel’s upcoming Avengers 4, in spite of turning into dust in Infinity War. Soon after this, we learnt that one more actor will be resurrected, thanks to some leaked set reports from the reshoots of Avengers 4.

And that one character is none other than Mantis. Well, she might be a bit weird but she is extremely funny and we totally wouldn’t mind if she hangs out for longer. Mantis is played by French actress Pom Klementieff and though she did die post-Thanos’ snap, although the actress herself revealed that she will be coming back to life in Avengers during an interview with Paper Magazine.

This shouldn’t come as surprising, given that she was already confirmed to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, which will take place after the events of the Infinity War. Tell the actress was even asked about her thoughts on the #MeToo movement and the challenges she faced in the industry. Here’s what she had to say:

“It’s scary and it’s beautiful, too. I remember Brie Larsen coming to me and Danai Gurira on the set of The Avengers and she told me about the [Time’s Up] letter to sign and I found it really amazing to have all these women — and men too — together in fighting for a better world. Things need to change so it’s great that we women are united and speaking out now.”

Although Klementieff was smart enough to not mention Avengers 4 even once, keeping in mind how strict Marvel is about maintaining secrecy. Avengers 4 will see her sharing the set with Captain Marvel and Okoye. Here’s what the actress had to say about playing Mantis in the Avengers franchise:

“It’s so fun. She’s weird, she’s special, she’s in her own world and I get to do funny things and I love to do that. Oftentimes in movies like this, the guys get to do the funny things and the girls have to play the “stop having fun guys” role, which is great, too, but it’s nice to have a different kind of woman. It’s fun to play that. I like to be the weirdo. People sometimes come up to me and tell me how much they love the character and feel a connection with Mantis because they themselves are not that confident or don’t feel good in their own skin. For me, it’s really touching and important that this character exists. I think Mantis’ [story] arc inside the movie is really interesting, too, because she doesn’t know how powerful she is. She was raised in a way that she was never told that she was strong and she was living in a very meek kind of way and then meeting the Guardians opened a new world to her.”

Well, we totally can’t wait to see Mantis back from the dead again to join the rest of the heroes in the battle against Thanos.
