According to a store listing that leaked online, “Batman Arkham Collection” might be coming to the Nintendo Switch this year:

A Still Of Batman: Arkham Collection Game

If a shop listing that leaked online is to be believed, “Batman Arkham Collection” might be coming to the Nintendo Switch this year. Of course, the listing might be totally incorrect, but it wouldn’t be the first time that a future, undisclosed title was accidentally leaked via a shop listing. More precisely, French store WTT has a listing for “Batman Arkham Collection,” indicating that it would be released on August 31st. Even if the title is genuine, the release date might be only a placeholder. Notably, Batman: Arkham Collection was originally published on systems other than the Nintendo Switch as well as the PC some years ago, providing validity to the entire thing.

If Batman: Arkham Collection really arrive on the Nintendo Switch this year, it seems reasonable to presume that it will be similar to the previous versions of Batman: Arkham Collection:

A Still Of Nintendo – Switch
A Still Of Nintendo – Switch

If it does arrive on the Nintendo Switch this year, it seems reasonable to expect it to be similar to the previous versions of Batman: Arkham Collection. On Steam, for example, the collection contains the Game of the Year Editions of both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, as well as Batman: Arkham Knight and its Season Pass. The only game absent from the Arkham series collection is Batman: Arkham Origins, which was not created by Rocksteady Studios. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a new video game in the Arkham franchise being developed by Rocksteady Studios. It has reportedly been postponed until 2023. At some point, WB Games is also planning to release Gotham Knights at some point, despite the fact that it features numerous of the same characters as the Arkham games.

The “Batman Arkham Collection” for the Nintendo Switch is not a scam, but the shop description does imply an August 31st release date:

A Still From The Game Batman: Arkham Collection
A Still From The Game Batman: Arkham Collection

As previously stated, there’s no telling if the listing for “Batman Arkham Collection” for the Nintendo Switch is genuine, although the shop site did specify an August 31st release date. Even if the video game collection is genuine, it might still be a placeholder in the long run. All of our past coverage of the Batman Arkham video games can be found right here.
