BB-8 Confirmed To Return In Star Wars: Episode IX
The production process of Star Wars: Episode IX is already underway and recently BB-8’s puppeteer Brian Herring revealed on his twitter feed that the beloved droid will be returning for the highly-anticipated film.
The film will be directed by J.J. Abrams and has an impressive cast that includes Daisy Ridley, Adam Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels and Oscar Isaac. Carrie Fisher is also said to appear in the film in a never seen before clip from The Last Jedi and The Force Awakens.

The script of the film is being written by J.J. Abrams and Justice League’s writer Chris Terio. Not much has been been revealed about the plot of the movie but the film is scheduled to release on December 20, 2019.
