“Being a mother feels weird…I have a distaste for it”: Elon Musk’s Ex Grimes Makes Bizarre Statement About Being Mother to Elon’s Kids
After dating for two years, Elon Musk and Grimes had their first child, X Æ A-Xii, aka X, together in May 2020. The couple then welcomed their daughter Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, aka Y, in December last year. However, soon after having their second child, the couple announced their breakup. The Canadian musician shared the news on Twitter.
She claimed that she and Elon Musk had a great relationship and they would continue to be in touch. The couple may have been separated, but they still try to be there for their children. However, Grimes still does not prefer to be called a mother.
Grimes Can’t Identify With the Word ‘Mother’
While getting ready for the 2021 Met gala, the Canadian musician shared how she really feels about being a mother. While talking to Vogue, Grimes said, “I think having a baby was a big rebirth for me artistically. Being a mother feels weird for me to say.”
She then shared that she can’t identify with the word mother. “I don’t even know why I have a distaste for it, I respect it … I just can’t identify with it, weirdly,” she said.
Grimes’ actual name is Claire Elise Boucher, and she shared that her son calls her by her first name ‘Claire.’ She claimed that maybe her son can sense her distaste for the word ‘mother‘ and she is glad he does not call her ‘mama.’
“X says Claire, but he doesn’t say ‘mama’… like, maybe he can sense my distaste for the word ‘mother,'” the musician shared. Elon Musk and Grimes have two children together, and the couple came up with a unique name for their first child. They named him Æ A-Xii, leading people to question what it really meant and how do they call him.
Elon Musk’s Crazy Theory About Grimes
Author Devin Gordon shared Elon Musk’s theory about his ex-girlfriend. The author also appeared in the BBC‘s docuseries, The Elon Musk Show. He said that the billionaire believed that the Canadian musician was his perfect companion, so perfect that she didn’t seem real to him.
The author shared that Grimes used to tell him about the crazy theory Musk had. “She told me repeatedly that Musk has this theory of her that she’s not real,” Gordon said. He then went on to say that the Twitter CEO believed that Grime is a simulation created by him and existed in the “cerebral cortex as sort of the perfect companion to him.”
He then shared that Tesla CEO’s ex also believed this theory. “She agrees with it. She said she does feel like this simulation which was perfectly created for him,” he said. However, the seemingly perfect relationship did not last long and they broke up in 2022.
