Doom Patrol includes some of the strangest superheroes of the DC Universe. While some reflect a unique personality, others managed to stand completely different in the crowd (the best ones).

DC’s Doom Patrol is already three seasons down and fans can definitely expect another one in the queue. With that being said, Doom Patrol season 3 thrives to offer viewers an endless comedy, oddities, and heart. Both the heroes and the villains of the franchise managed to somehow impress the audience in different yet intriguing ways.

With that being said, these are the 5 best characters from the franchise –

The Elasti Girl

Rita Farr’s character development is perhaps one of the most intriguing parts of the show. It was Niles Caulder who exposed her to the Immortus Initiative that later developed her body’s abilities to act as an elastic. While Rita initially struggled to accept the sudden changes, she eventually managed to accept the reality. The journey of her character from being a “fame” obsessed person to a kind one is really inspiring. Despite being a Hollywood star, she starts to figure out how to gain control over her powers and help humanity.

Mr. Nobody

Eric Morden underwent Nazi’s experiment that made him eligible to break the fourth wall and travel across the different dimensions. With that being said, Mr. Nobody has all the best qualities that make him a perfect candidate to become a supervillain. Moreover, he keeps communicating with the viewers and thrives to suffer Niles’ patients for the sake of fun and comedy. Eric even established an evil company called the “Brotherhood of Dangerous Animals.”

The Chief

It was Niles Caulder who brought all the Doom Patrol superheroes together and offered them a place to accommodate. Since he has a vast range of scientific knowledge, it makes him quite eligible to handle even complex experiments. With that being said, the Chief is naturally blessed with longevity (a power that MCU characters receive after taking the Super Soldier Serum). The only thing that holds this man from becoming a “perfect” character is the fact that he has quite a few skeletons inside his closet.

The Robotman

After meeting a major car accident, the former driver, Cliff Steele, gets his body transformed into a robot suit. Since he is quite practical and accepts reality, he opts to become a part of the Doom Patrol team. While the character is overall funny, there isn’t any doubt why Cliff is the easiest one to sympathize with. The Robotman is undoubtedly the best driver in the franchise and has experience in the racing track as well.

The Candlemaker

The only purpose the Candlemaker had was to turn the planet into the wax. With that being said, he was the only one who possessed the potential to defeat each of the Doom Patrol members. Precisely, he is nearly impossible to defeat anyway, which makes him the most powerful character of the show.
