Best Look Yet – Black Widow, Marvel REVEALS

Every significant character in Marvel’s Avengers has a distinctive design for them and their position in the game globe. While Iron Man or Captain America and the like may be inspired by comics or films, each character model is specifically designed to invoke the feeling of the environment that developer Crystal Dynamics and publisher Square Enix are creating. And clearly that applies to Black Widow.

Short Video released

Like the other characters, Marvel’s Avengers Twitter account has released a short video showing the best look yet on the character model of Black Widow performing an idle animation. The focus here is on the different elements of her suit that have been emphasized, including the remarkable gadgets, belt and arms. It is also interesting that this is a two-piece suit in fields with enhanced padding. And then there are the iconic gauntlets, of course.

Enix described Marvel Avengers

Black Widow as depicted in the film

Here’s how Square Enix previously described Marvel’s Avengers:

“Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco — including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.”

Marvel’s Avengers is planned to be released on May 15, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia by publisher Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics.
