Best ‘Transformers’ Fan Reactions To The New Bumblebee Teasers

The new teasers for Bumblebee surfaced online day before yesterday, exciting fans who are anticipating for the film’s release.

Fans got their first look at Optimus Prime, Dropkick, Ravage, Shatter and Soundwave in the new teasers. The teasers hint at the battle we all had been waiting for: between Soundwave and G1 Optimus Prime on Cybertron.

For those fans who don’t know, Bumblebee will be set in 1987, 20 years before the events of the first Transformers film and will star Hailee Steinfeld as Charlie Watson. The film is directed by Travis Knight who is best known for animated films like Coraline and Kubo. The film also stars Pamela Adlon, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg, Jason Drucker, Abby Quinn and Stephen Schneider. Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

“On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.”
