Amber Heard has been trying her best to overturn the verdict of the defamation trial. She recently filed an appeal against the verdict in the Circuit Court of Fairfax County. Even though experts believe that the appeal will be of no help to the actress, the star seems to be hopeful. However, she is wise enough not to repeat past mistakes, due to which she recently fired one of the lawyers from her legal team.
Amber Heard fires Elaine Bredehoft, blames her for loss in the trial
According to TMZ, the Aquaman actress let go of Elaine Bredehoft, who was a major part of her trial and who did her best to ensure the actress’ win. However, it seems like the actress is unhappy with the attorney’s performance and the criticism she received during the trial, due to which the star has decided to replace her with the lead attorneys of Ballard Spahr, David L. Axelrod, and Jay Ward Brown. The newly appointed defenders released a statement saying,
“We welcome the opportunity to represent Ms. Heard in this appeal as it is a case with important First Amendment implications for every America.”
Amber Heard’s team is ready to defend her once again
Amber Heard’s other attorney, Ben Rottenborn, continues to remain on the team. The actress’ representative talked about the change of lawyers and said,
“When it comes to protecting the fundamental right of Freedom of Speech, we look at the jury’s decision — to paraphrase a famous quote — not ‘as the beginning of the end, but merely the end of the beginning.’ A different court warrants different representation, particularly as so much new evidence is now coming to light.”
It seems like her team is hell-bent on doing anything and everything to ensure the actress’ victory.
Twitter reacts to Amber Heard’s move
As always, Twitter was quick to react to the firing of the attorney.
I bet Elaine is doing a happy dance to be rid of the crazy, life draining client, AH!

So, looks like Elaine Bredehoft is "stepping down" as counsel for Amber Heard, while Rottenborn is staying on.
From what I saw of the trial performance, this is a smart play by Amber Heard's team. I wonder what if any retirement plans she has.

Gotta love Elaine Bredehoft getting canned despite her attacking the judge, jury, witnesses, youtubers, and more for Amber Heard.
Funny Heard blames her for the clown car while wearing the floppiest shoes.

Only time will tell if the change of lawyers will benefit the actress or if the verdict will remain the same.
