‘Better Offer 2 Million Alpacas’: Jack Sparrow Returns to Disneyland, Sparks Johnny Depp Return Rumours
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s infamous defamation lawsuit took away a lot from both the actor. The much remarkable one was Johnny Depp being shown an exit from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The actor has been a part of the franchise for so long and imagining somebody else as Captain Jack Sparrow is unimaginable. However, if this might sound like a ray of ope to Jack Sparrow’s fans, we have a piece of good news.
After the jury ruled in favor of Johnny Depp, Disney reintroduced his face to its castle. It also comes just weeks after Johnny declared ‘nothing on this earth’ would persuade him to return to his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, which he reportedly lost when Amber claimed she was a victim of domestic abuse in a 2018 article.

Jack Sparrow returns to Disneyland
Disney, which had distanced itself from Johnny since 2018, displayed the actor’s image as Jack Sparrow on the castle at Disneyland Paris. People on social media uploaded photos and videos of Johnny appearing in a Pirates of the Caribbean exhibit. The audience burst into applause as Johnny’s face showed on the screen, followed by a sentence spoken by him in the film. While the series’ theme song played, more moments from the film Johnny were presented. Fireworks and fountains were also part of the light display.

Fans have conflicting feelings about Captain Jack Sparrow’s portrayal. Supporters of Amber Heard slammed the action, while JD’s admirers applauded him, saying the studio should either apologize to the actor or stop benefiting from his fame. Some believe it is a signal that he will return.

Previously, the director for the much-famous franchise noted that Depp’s comeback was truly uncertain. However, now that Margot Robbie led Pirates project in production it would be great to see Depp and Robbie opposite each other.
