The wait is finally coming to an end as Avengers: Endgame has started hitting theaters across the globe. This marks the premiere of the film fans had been waiting for since the past decade. While Endgame won’t hit the theaters in North America until Thursday night, the film is now concluding the opening day in China where it’s releasing with a huge haul. Avengers: Endgame will most likely be breaking many records in the upcoming couple of months. However, it only took Endgame one day to check a milestone off the checklist.
Avengers: Endgame Already has ONE Record to Their Name
Avengers: Endgame already has the record for the highest opening in China’s box office history. As per the estimates by Deadline
If China continues its current run, it will probably match or even surpass the opening weekend haul for US. Initial reports indicate that Avengers: Endgame will give an opening weekend box office collection between $250 to $280 million. These estimates are now expected to rise, with many believing it may cross the $300 million milestone.
Avengers: Endgame is set to break all records
The same number is the goal for US opening weekend too. Currently, the highest opening haul record is with Avengers: Infinity War which came out last year, grossing more than $257 million in its three days. Once Endgame arrives, it’s expected to beat that record and for now, the only question is how far will Endgame go!
This will definitely help Endgame as the initial critical reviews for the full have been extremely positive until now. After the film was premiered on Tuesday, Endgame was certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a whopping 97% score. The film is a hit among critics and box office, both setting the road for a wonderful theaterical run.
