Most old-school fans remember the Blade franchise, where the iconic role was played Wesley Snipes. Blade is a day walker who hunts down creatures lurking in the night. There have been many fans who’ve been vocal about the character returning to the big screen someday. It was also been teased by Wesley Snipes regarding his comeback and while his most recent image doesn’t confirm any new project confirmation of a new project, it suggests that Blade is certainly on Blade’s mind right now.
Wesley Snipes posts an image with Blade avatar
A poster was posted by Snipes as Blade on his bike, ready to taking out vampires which get on his way. Alongside the image, also wrote “Caption this… #Blade.” This didn’t long for fans to start reacting with captions to join MCU in the next phase.

We really don’t know it this is something which may, Snipes revealed last summers that he has been in conversation with with Marvel about some project with the same character. Since nothing has yet come to lie, perhaps here is more on it behind the scenes.
Fans have long awaited for awaited For Blade
“There’s a lot of pieces that have to come together,” Snipes told Vice. “I mean wow. Who’s that guy?” And one that can overcome everybody’s preconceived idea of who Blade is supposed to be. Skill-wise, there’s not a lot of guys out there that dance, that do the martial arts, that act well and can have that Blade flavor. Not a lot of chocolate guys out there. If they’re gonna go chocolate. If they’re gonna go vanilla… ehhhh, I don’t know. Non-traditional casting: I’m with it. I’ve been a beneficiary of it. I don’t know if it would be good for marketing but you never know. So, yeah, it’s a tough one. And they gotta be in shape and have some sex appeal. F-cking Blade has some sex appeal. Maybe you know somebody I don’t. I don’t know.”
Fans now have some hope for a Blade series, thanks to the announcement of Ghost Rider and Helstorm series, which teases a Spirits of Vengeance side of Marvel. This may also include Blade, and if this happens would they recast someone as Blade or will Snipes return?
Will we get Blade 4?
Blade 4 can be pulled off by Marvel as one time thing, however, this seems very unlikely, and if they were introducing the character to the large screen, it would seem they may want it connected to the popular MCU.
