One of the best parts of Crisis On Infinite Earths was undoubtedly Brandon Routh’s Kingdom Come Superman. He came in like the classic mild mannered Clark Kent before transforming into a confident Superman who took Lois’s and the viewers breathe away. But it looks like Brandon Routh himself had some demands before stepping into the tights. for Crisis.

Anti-Monitor has just now arrived in Crisis, know more about him here:

Brandon Routh has stated that when he was asked to reprise his Superman Returns role in Crisis, then he had some specific demands. He said in an interview with Den of Geek that:

“I wanted to make sure that it was the same character, the same version of Superman or at least similar enough. As we know now with different films and comic book storylines that have come out in all these years, there are different ways to approach the character. I wanted to make sure that ideally it was the same character from Superman Returns. And if not, that it was still that same idea of who Superman is, at his core. That was important to me. Because I wasn’t necessarily interested in playing a different version.”

Brandon Routh As Superman In Crisis Surprised Many, Impressed All

Brandon Routh’s return as Superman in Crisis surprised many. They thought that his Superman days were permanently behind him since Brandon Routh was playing Ray Palmer/The Atom in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Maybe Brandon Routh’s Ray and Supes can meet?). But Brandon Routh came back as the version of Superman in Crisis who was the perfect extension of Christopher Reeves Superman (Superman fans will know that Brandon Routh’s Supes in Superman Returns and in Crisis was a continuation of Christopher Reeves’s version). In Crisis, Routh blew all the other Supermen out of the water with his suit and mannerisms. We are now way more interested in watching a tv show with Brandon Routh’s version of Supes rather than Tyler Hoechlin’s.

“Crisis on Infinite Earths” will return after the winter hiatus. The crossover will conclude on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in Arrow at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
