His dementia could possibly erase his lifetime of memories if his health gets worse due to the symptoms of the same. According to the outlet, Demi Moore, his ex-wife, came up with the concept to honor him. An insider revealed, “that was Demi’s idea, and the whole family is quite enthusiastic about it.”

One of the insiders told the same news source,

“The family hopes that reliving the various experiences he had with his co-stars will keep Bruce’s memory as sharp and stimulated as possible, and it may be a Hail Mary pass, but at this stage, they’re willing to try anything to keep Bruce’s memory intact for as long as they can.”

The Glass actor’s close friends in the entertainment industry have already asked his on-screen co-stars Cybill Shepherd, Bonnie Bedelia, and Sylvester Stallone to support him during these tough times. As per the sources, the Looper movie star’s wife, Emma Heming, and his ex, Demi Moore, have planned to gather along with Willis’ five daughters and industry pals once a week to watch his old movies and shows at his Beverly Hills mansion with the hope this will help his memory stay alive.

Fans all across the world were sad to hear about his ill health. This year, his family shared that Bruce Willis’s health has deteriorated and he is currently being treated for frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

While they find comfort in the fact that finally they have a clear diagnosis, they also shared how disheartening it is for them to hear that it’s an incurable disease and anytime he could lose his memory filled with so many roles he has played during his acting career. A statement from the Willis family was released on February 16, 2023. It says,

“As a family, we wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for the outpouring of love and compassion for Bruce over the past ten months. Your generosity of spirit has been overwhelming, and we are tremendously grateful for it. For your kindness and because we know you love Bruce as much as we do, we wanted to give you an update.”
