This image was spotted on Reddit and shows much other POP! figures Funko is preparing for the new film. It makes sense, considering Marvel’s attempts at keeping Law’s identity a secret if it’s Yon-Rogg. If he was Marvel, there wasn’t much reason to keep him quiet on such a prominent character in the Marvel mythos.

This comes as a secret that affects the plot of the film, and Jude Law is presented as a heroic ally to Brie Larson’s character. Many fans would assume that Law could the film’s main villain and that he’s a bigger threat than Talos and Skrulls.

Here’s what Law spoke about Marvel’s secrecy regarding his role.

“He is driven by a belief in the divine leadership of the Kree people,” Law said to EW. “So he’s almost a devout warrior — unquestioning, conservative, but inspirational.”

He even addressed his characters’ relationship with Danvers, who’s described as half-human/half-Kree.

“These extraordinary powers she has, he sees them as something of a blessing and something that she has to learn how to control,” Law revealed. “That’s a motif throughout the piece, the element of learning to control one’s emotions and to use your powers wisely.”

Captain Marvel will release on March 8, 2019.
