Millions of fans and various celebrities all around the world are taking out time to remember Stan Lee, the legend behind Marvel Comics. And now, MCU’s Captain America, Chris Evans has also joined the ranks to pay tribute to Lee.

Evans took to Twitter and posted a short message in Lee’s honour. He heralded Lee for all the inspiration he provided to numerous creators over his five-decade-long career.

“There will never be another Stan Lee,” Evans writes.

“For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy. He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives. Excelsior!!”

As condolence continue to flood in over Lee, Evans’ message has struck a chord among fans. The actor has become a fan-favourite over the years with his iconic representation of Steve Rogers aka Captain America. Even Lee once revealed that he connected the best with Evans among all other MCU actors.

“Chris, the fellow who plays Captain America, he was the Human Torch and then they made him Captain America and he’s the greatest guy, but I love them all,” Lee said during a previous appearance on Larry King Now.

Both Lee and Evans had a strong bond and while Jack Kirby and Joe Simon are responsible behind the creation of Captain America, Lee quickly became acquainted with the Super Soldier during his long tenure with Marvel as a writer.
