Vincent D’onofrio Comments On Daredevil’s Cancellation

The reports of Daredevil’s death have been exaggerated. Netflix has been recently on a spree of cancelling Marvel shows, as Marvel’s Iron Fist and Luke Cage got cancelled recently.

Given that Marvel fans have been worried about other Marvel series like Jessica Jones, Daredevil and The Punisher. Some recently leaked social data suggests that the fans are right to be worried.

A fan has now demanded Vincent D’onofrio’s Kingpin to go against Spider-Man in the MCU if Daredevil gets cancelled.

D’onofrio replied, “Nope.”

The Kingpin star is not overly concerned with Netflix bringing Daredevil to an end. No decision has been made yet by Netflix over Daredevil.

Marvel’s Iron Fist was the first series to get cancelled.

“Marvel’s Iron Fist will not return for a third season on Netflix,” the official statement read. “Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is proud of the series and grateful for all of the hard work from our incredible cast, crew and showrunners … We’re thankful to the fans who have watched these two seasons, and for the partnership, we’ve shared on this series. While the series on Netflix has ended, the Immortal Iron Fist will live on.”

Luke Cage got cancelled the next week.

“Unfortunately, Marvel’s Luke Cage will not return for a third season,” Marvel and Netflix’s joint statement reads. “Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem’s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series.”
