The third season of Daredevil premiered recently on Netflix to a wave of critical appreciation but it’s been accompanied by the cancellation of two other Marvel TV shows on Netflix.

Many fans feel that Daredevil would be the next show to get cancelled after Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Now, some data has surfaced from Jumpshot might provide some insight into the future of Marvel’s Netflix series.

According to the data provided by Screenrant, Jumpshot can track “five billion actions in a day across 100 million devices” in order to analyse user viewing habits, including Netflix shows like Daredevil.

The second season for Daredevil remains the most watched Netflix series and the third season hasn’t done as well. The viewership, as stated by the firm, has dropped its viewership by 57 percent. This makes sense, as the second season for Daredevil brought in two major Marvel characters: Punisher and Elektra.

However, the second season for Daredevil outperformed the second seasons of both Iron Fist and Luke Cage, which means that it’s still popular among Netflix viewers. The show has seen a similar decline like most Netflix series after its first week of the premiere.

The buzz for the new season has been strong, with many fans and critics praising the storyline and acting. Obviously, the data provided by Jumpshot is only a snapshot as they only take care of users in the United States. Netflix doesn’t release their viewing data so their own records might paint another picture.
