The DC Extended Universe and Fast & Furious film series have become two of Hollywood’s biggest ongoing franchises. Both series have been around for over a decade, gaining momentum with each subsequent installment. They both offer plenty of opportunities to see A-list actors on the big screen as in front of it, and they’re frequently shared between them all. Gal Gadot has been involved with both the DCEU and Fast & Furious film franchises, having appeared in three of the eight films in the former universe and four of the eight films in the latter. While she first made her debut in a Fast & Furious movie (as Gisele), she is best known for playing Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) in DCEU. Before becoming an actor, Gadot was serving two years as a combat trainer. She stated that her role models are people like Jackie Chan and Queen Elizabeth I.
In 2021, both the DCEU and Fast & Furious franchises got a big boost in terms of star power, thanks to John Cena. The former WWE wrestler made his appearance as the villainous Jakob Toretto opposite to F9‘s Dom (Vin Diesel). He provided a secret estranged brother twist that was present from the film’s opening moments till its very end. At the same time, the actor also starred in James Gunn’s Peacemaker as the titular character.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has appeared in three films from Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures: The Mummy Returns with Brendan Fraser, The Game Plan with Nelly, and Moana alongside Auli’i Cravalho. He is also set to appear as the Black Adam in the DC Extended Universe’s Black Adam. The actor has also appeared multiple times in the Fast & Furious movies. He played the famous cop, Hobbs in the franchise.
Jason Momoa is one of Hollywood’s latest rising stars. As of today, he’s been attached to the DC Extended Universe and Fast & Furious franchises already. The Aquaman actor is set to appear as Arthur Curry in (at least) two upcoming Aquaman movies, The Lost Kingdom and another entry in the DCEU. In regards to the Fast & Furious franchise, Momoa is set to appear as one of its villains in an upcoming entry (FF10).
