Last year, the pop sensation Britney Spears ended her 13-year conservatorship and began enjoying her hard-earned freedom. Her experiences while in conservatorship since then has been discussed frequently on social media. In addition, she opened up about her family’s behavior before and during her conservatorship, which left fans heartbroken.
During her conservatorship, Spears may have suffered psychological trauma from her dad Jamie Spears’ past behavior. According to her stylist, Britney Spears should shed her outdated pop princess image, considering her age and new life as an adult. Nevertheless, her psychological trauma may lead her to become her old self from the pop era to feel joy.
Despite all these personal issues, she still earned the top spot on Mediabase’s hot adult contemporary chart with her song Hold me Closer (2022) with Elton John.

On the latest Mediabase Hot AC chart, Nicky Youre & Dazy’s Sunroof drops one spot to the 4th position, and OneRepublic’s I Ain’t Worried drops three levels to the 5th position.
As a result, Britney Spears is back in the top spot in the music world with renewed vigor after her tragic journey.
Britney Spears After Conservatorship: What’s New?
In the wake of her conservatorship ending, Britney Spears, 40, has been sharing her controversial thoughts and pictures on social media. Several social media posts criticized her parents’ behavior, as she blamed them for her past challenges. During the conservatorship, dealing with her father’s behavior was very hard for her.
She made numerous allegations against her father, Jamie Spears, in a bombshell court testimony in June 2021. In an interview, the Princess of Pop revealed that nurses checked on her every day and that she was “controlled” by having her wear an intrauterine device (IUD).
Additionally, she claimed her father Jamie Spears body-shamed her in front of her boyfriend. She also revealed that her mother, Lynne Spears, slapped her for partying late at night with her friends while her mother took care of Spears’ children, which she felt her mom did wrong to her.
Additionally, Spears is now believed to be under some form of control by her husband, Sam Asghari, just as her father had done previously. Britney Spears was surprised when he suddenly went on Instagram live without her consent and asked her to be on camera. However, she denied talking with the fans.
Her father had conservatorship over her for 15 years, and she was under his care, which was a traumatic experience for her. On November 12, 2021, however, her conservatorship ended, and the singer was able to return to being independent once again. Despite this, she is trying to recover from her psychological trauma and find her path again.
