As the video ended up getting more than 12 million views before being taken down, Newsweek did a fact check of the video. Their report debunked the rumor and dismissed the suggestion that Amber Heard has set up an OnlyFans. The report claimed that it was meant as a satirical video.

“The ‘Aquaman’ star has never publicly announced that she has joined the growing list of celebrities to have launched an account on OnlyFans,” the report by Newsweek said. The report went on to say that the video was not affiliated with Amber Heard and it was “satirical in nature”. Read the full report below.

“In the TikTok video making the claim, it was clear to see that the OnlyFans page displayed was in no way affiliated with Heard. The tone of the TikTok video appears to be somewhat satirical in nature, suggesting that the uploader himself did not seriously present the claims as facts. Posts on other platforms, including Twitter and Reddit, suggesting Heard was forced to open an account on the platform, were also unevidenced. Having searched the platform, Newsweek did not identify any verified accounts run by Heard.”

The report by Newsweek also stated they tried to contact Amber Heard for comment but got no response from the Aquaman actor.

With all the brawl going on, Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom is set to release on March 17, 2023
