Shakira and Gerard Pique’s 12-year-long relationship came to an end last month, and although they never got married, the separation has been very difficult for both parties. Shakira has hired two new reputable lawyers, who will try to give Shakira custody of her children, Milan and Sasha. A rumor is also spreading around that says an erotic video might exist that shows Alejandro Sanz, Shakira, and her ex-boyfriend, Antonio de la Rúa together on a yacht.
Shakira’s representatives addressed the rumors
The rumor began spreading when Javier Ceriani, host of the show Zona cero (Clásica 92.3 FM), said “It’s been said a lot these days that there is a private video recorded on a yacht, one that could implicate Alejandro Sanz, Shakira and Antonio de la Rúa, but that tape is in the hands of the courts.”
Shakira’s representatives sent out a statement to the press shutting down all the rumors, “This is a false rumor. This is totally absurd any way you look at it. There is no possibility that such a video exists. It is a baseless and malicious rumor“.
Shakira’s lawyers were recommended to her by Alejandro Sanz
The first is Spanish lawyer Pilar Mañé, one of the most prestigious matrimonial lawyers and family law experts in Spain who was recommended to her by Alejandro Sanz. She specifically involves herself in matters of divorce, separation, alimony, and child support.
The other lawyer is the Colombian Heli Abel Torrado, who is Shakira’s uncle. He helped in closing the Antonio de la Rúa chapter in Shakira’s life. The artist had to pay her ex a much lower compensation than he demanded thanks to him.
The two lawyers will try to give Shakira custody of her children
Shakira has hired the two reputable lawyers to give Shakira custody of her children, Milan and Sasha, 9 and 7 years old respectively. Both the parties will go the court to decide who gets custody of their children. Shakira and Gerard Pique began dating in 2010 and confirmed their split last month in a joint statement after being together for 12 years because Gerard Pique was caught cheating on the singer.
