Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson are in the spotlight because of the highly-anticipated Thor: Love and Thunder which is releasing this week. They’re playing formidable female superheroes with complex and very different stories in the new Marvel movie. This week is very crucial for them as the expectations are sky-high. They posed together at one event and fans are trolling Natalie Portman over her outfit.
Natalie Portman gets superhuman abilities in the movie
She talked about her character and Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, “What you’re offering audiences is just a wider variety of what women can be, different personalities. Different superpowers. For kids watching it, they have a choice of who they can relate to, who they identify with, based on many, many choices of different personalities, as opposed to, ‘Oh, that’s the girl. That’s the person I’m supposed to be connected to.’”
People on social media trolled the actress over her outfit
While the actress is widely known for her iconic outfits, this one didn’t seem to hit the mark. The outfit has left fans wondering if the actress got rid of her stylist. People made jokes about her outfit under a picture posted by Film Updates on Twitter. Some claim that they are giving Cher and Dionne vibes from Clueless.

Natalie Portman is playing a major role in a Marvel film after almost a decade
Natalie Portman will play a major role in a Marvel film after almost a decade (the Russo brothers used old footage for her part in Avengers: Endgame). She is reprising the character of astrophysicist Jane Foster, who this time obtains superhuman abilities like Thor and becomes a new hero known as the Mighty Thor. She then teams up with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie to defeat Gorr the God Butcher, played by Christian Bale, who seeks to slaughter every god in the universe.
Thor: Love and Thunder will hit the theatres on 8th July 2022.
