Chad Stahelski, along with David Leitch, is known for their superb direction in the John Wick films, which featured Keanu Reaves.

Marvel Studios announced the Blade Reboot in the San Diego Comic-Con 2019, and it turned out to be one of the biggest News of the event.

Marvel also said that they are looking forward to casting the House of Cards actor Mahershala Ali in the film, and this movie will not be the part of the MCU phase 4 movies.

The Blade character is created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist Gene Colan. Blade made its first appearance in the Marvel Comic book the Tomb of Dracula #10(1973) as a supporting character.

Later on, due to its popularity among the fans, he appeared in many of its own storylines.

Due to its immense success in the box office, it spawned its two sequel, Blade 2 and Blade: Trinity. However, the last blade movie was extensively criticized by the fans.

Speaking with Comicbook, the director Chad Stahelski said that.

“As far as doing my own, I’m not a gigantic superhero guy, but I enjoy the movies. I love the Avengers. I loved Captain America. I like James Gunn’s take on Guardians. I really dig him as a director and what he’s done with that. Ragnarok, I felt was really funny. I thought that was clever. I’ve come around.

If the opportunity ever came, I would like to take a stab at…the one that really jumps out to me would be like Blade. If they were going to redo Blade or something like that, just because I feel that one, for some reason, the vampire martial art action vibe. That would be a cool one to stretch and try and reinvent.”

Each of the Blade films has different directors, so it isn’t easy to speculate the next director of the upcoming Marvel movie.

Seeing the direction of Chad Stahelski in the John Wick series personally, I feel he can give an excellent path to this film. However, nothing is confirmed yet from the Marvel studios, not even the release date.
