In a recent trailer of Dr. Strange MOM, in a frame, we see Dr. Strange fall from an animated universe that appears to be the Savage Lands. It’s a direct reference from the 1997 X-Men: The Animated Series. The jungle location located beneath Antarctica has been closely tied to the X-Men and Wolverine, making it a plausible location for a new Variant of him to surface.
Will Hugh Jackman return to play Wolverine in Doctor Strange 2?
Using this universe to resurrect the comic-accurate Wolverine would be the ideal way to assuage fans to have another mutant on board. Since Hugh Jackman won’t be returning to the role of Wolverine, it would be a perfect return if the character would be voiced by Jackman. Also, it would serve as bait to attract more audiences and fans of wolverine for a huge success.
