Ellen DeGeneres Renews Wedding Vows With Kris Jenner’s Help Despite Momager Being Notorious for Orchestrating Divorces of Own Daughters for Fame
Recently Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi renewed their wedding vows on the latter’s birthday celebration. The couple has been married for more than a decade and they celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary last year. And Rossi’s birthday this year came with a surprise for the TV show host. The idea to refresh the wedding vows was arranged and officiated by their close friend and socialite, Kris Jenner. Moreover, Brandi Carlile was invited to perform for the surprise occasion. As they relived their wedding day from 2008, Rossi also wore the same wedding gown enhancing the experience. DeGeneres shared the moments via her social media accounts which were met with love and support from other celebrities.

A few days ago, Ellen DeGeneres renewed her wedding vows to her wife Portia de Rossi. The event had been a surprise for the TV personality as initially, she thought the party was for Rossi’s birthday celebration. But she was taken by surprise when her wife came out wearing her wedding gown from their 2008 marriage ceremony. They exchanged vows and various loving words with each other. The moment was shared by DeGeneres via her social media accounts. She captioned the video,
“Portia surprised me at her birthday party by renewing our vows,”
She also thanked Kris Jenner for officiating the whole thing. The American socialite later commented on the post expressing her happiness for the couple. According to Rossi, the idea to renew the vow came to her while planning for her own birthday party. She shared that no matter what she thought, everything led to her wife DeGeneres. During the renewal of the vows, the couple exchanged words of love with the tv host saying,
“I love you and I would not be on this earth without you,”
And Rossi shared her love romantically adding,
“You’re the most important thing in the world to me”
The post was met with support and love from various celebrity friends of the couple. Furthermore, the event was attended by various famous names, including Meghan Markle.
A Brief Look at The Couple’s Relationship
Back in August 2008, Ellen DeGeneres married her lover Portia de Rossi. And the two have been going strong ever since. According to Page Six, their marriage ceremony took place in Los Angeles and was attended by very few people, with around 20 guests in total.
As of now, their marriage has lasted more than a decade. The two celebrated their 14th anniversary last year. DeGeneres updated her followers on Instagram about their anniversary by sharing a post and captioning it with,

The long-time couple does not have any children as of yet. However, they are visibly and deeply in love with each other.
