Elon Musk’s Twitter Deal in Jeopardy, Fans Claim an Amber Heard Connection

Elon Musk is now the owner of a 100% stake in Twitter for $44 billion. The deal is not finalized yet and is expected to get done by the end of 2022.  On June 6, Monday, Twitter received a letter from Elon Musk’s attorney writing that the company “is resisting and thwarting his information rights” regarding an issue with spam accounts. If this persists, Musk says that he would have to terminate the deal. “This is a clear material breach of Twitter’s obligations under the merger agreement and Mr. Musk reserves all rights resulting therefrom, including his right not to consummate the transaction and his right to terminate the merger agreement”, threatens Musk.

The Tesla owner had demanded information from the company revolving around the data depicting active users who are not BOT or spam accounts, and a few adjustments to content restrictions. Elon Musk was under an impression that the deal was on hold, however, the company did not seem to follow that exactly. ” At this point, Mr. Musk believes Twitter is transparently refusing to comply with its obligations under the merger agreement, which is causing further suspicion that the company is withholding the requested data due to concern for what Mr. Musk’s own analysis of that data will uncover”, reads the letter.
