The DC Extended Universe has seen almost all of its superheroes at the center of some classic and iconic scenes. While the critical and commercial success of the DCEU has not reached to the point where MCU is currently hovering, their projects are still popular and have their own set of viewers. Irrespective of how a person feels about the movies or DC series, it is quite clear that their characters are beloved by millions across the globe.
With that being said, DCEU’s legendary superheroes have managed to become a part of some really iconic moments and scenes on the big screen. Whether it was a solo release or a team-play, these characters managed to play the epic scene that viewers and DC fans are going to remember forever. Shazam
DCEU has faced multiple criticisms that their films become too dark. In fact, a film like Deadpool 2 was one of them. If there was one movie or say the scene that changed it all, it was in Shazam. It was the moment where Billy shared his powers with his siblings using the staff. As a result, they all got turned into grown-up heroes with superpowers. While they all worked together to take Seven Deadly Sins and Thaddeus Sivana down, the epic scene highlighted Billy’s trust in his family.
Batman
This character is yet to receive a solo project in the DCEU. Still, he managed to appear in several movies of the franchise starting with Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. In fact, the entire 2016 went by seeing DC’s two of the most powerful superheroes fighting a battle. While it was mostly disappointing, viewers can’t forget the fight between both of them. While the “Martha” statement was quite negative, fans appreciated the “Do you bleed?” quote by Batman. It somehow showed that Batman was not intimidated by the opponent and was just trying to prove that he could be taken down as well.
Aquaman
While Aquaman has never been a top-class superhero in the DC comics, the 2018’s Aquaman was quite a treat. The film was a massive hit and earned somewhere around $1 billion, globally. Maybe it was Jason Momoa’s performance and charisma that helped DCEU get such a massive reaction from the audience. The most iconic moment of this character was when he was trying to prove his worth to get the Trident of Atlan. The scene was absolutely heroic and it went even cool when Aquaman emerged with the trident while wearing his famous suit from the comic world.
Harley Quinn
Harley Quinn has always been one of the most prominent team players in the DCEU. More or less, a major part of its credit goes to Margot Robbie who made the character look so exceptional on screen. With that said, the most iconic Harley Quinn moment will be the jailbreak scene in Birds of Prey. She takes multiple guards out to get Cassandra out of the jail. The entire scene highlighted the true badass version of Harley Quinn.
Wonder Woman
The cream of the crop for a lot of DCEU fans is still the time when Wonder Woman was released in 2017. While it had a truly spectacular story, a throwback setting, and of course the gorgeous Gal Gadot, Wonder Woman also included some really intriguing moments. The most prominent one is when Gal Gadot’s Diana experiences war for the first time. She walks through No Man’s Land while Steve and other characters just follow her. The scene changed the perspective and encouraged the audience to cheer for the female superhero.
