Every New Supe Coming to Boys Season 3

The Boys season 3 will have multiple new Supers to Amazon’s superhero show and we can presume that it’s gonna be amazing. Here’s every confirmed Supe, from Soldier Boy to Supersonic.  Based on the comic from Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, the third season gives us a deep dive into Homelander’s origin story.

The trailer for season 3 of The Boys is mentioned below and we can expect a lot of action from it! The latest season also brings in Laurie Holden as Crimson Countess, Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, Sean Patrick Flannery as Gunpowder, Nick Wechsler as Blue Hawk, and Miles Gaston Villanueva as Supersonic and many others. 

Led by Homelander, the show’s equivalent to the Avengers or Justice League and the team roster looks very different heading into season 3. So far, The Seven remains the core group of Supes featured in The Boys and we have new supes making an entry in the third season. 

Soldier Boy, a hero from the World War II

Supernaturals fame Jensen Ackles will be seen as Soldier Boy, a hero during World War II. He is a patriotic “boy scout” character in the vein of Captain America lacking the courage and fortitude. Being skilled in combat as a fighter, Soldier Boy uses an eagle-marked shield which is similar to what Captain America used during the Wakanda fight in Avengers Infinity War. His power is fairly standard for Supers, as he has superhuman strength, speed, agility, etc.

Crimson Countess

The Walking Dead star is joining the third season of the Boys as a satirical deconstruction as a parody of Marvel’s Scarlett Witch. Played by Laurie Holden, she will become an archnemesis to the boys as in the trailer she creates firebolts to kill Frenchie and Kimiko. She is a pyrokinetic, capable of generating heat and fire with her mind with rage and promiscuity. 

Supersonic/ Drummerboy

Played by Miles Gaston Villanueva, Supersonic AKA Drummer Boy is reportedly Starlight’s former boyfriend. Drummer Boy was a figure from the Boys comics as the leader of the wholesome supe team Young Americans. Starlight broke up after she caught Super Sonic cheating on her with fellow Young American member Holy Mary.

Gunpowder

Gunpowder is mentioned multiple times in previous seasons of The Boys. The character of Gun Powder will be played by Sean Patrick Flannery and will be a former member and a retired superhero of the team, Payback. Being a parody of Deadshot and Judge Dredd, Gun Powder can enhance the speed/strength of projectile weaponry like firearms, arrows, thrown objects, energy balls, etc.

Blue Hawk

Nick Wechsler will be playing the role of Blue Hawk, a hilarious parody of Wolverine but instead of claws protruding from his knuckles. The character is based on the comics’ Ground Hawk, who does don a blue hawk helmet. Being a member of the G-Men, who are a supe group entirely separate from Vought, Blue Hawk will be aligned with Victoria Neuman – a supe who also seems to hold a grudge against Vought.
