The cult-classic Teen Titans animated series is still revered so many years later. Almost every Teen Titans villain we saw back then was unlike anything we have ever seen till date. Here is every Teen Titans Villain we have absolute respect for.

Brother Blood

Brother Blood

The man known as Brother Blood was the season three Teen titans Villain. He had a rivalry with Cyborg which formed the primary plot point for the third season of Teen Titans. The founder of HIVE Academy, Brother Blood runs a school where he trains bad guys to be better bad guys. He takes charge of his students using mind control. But somehow Cyborg was able to resist his charms. His style, dressing sense, and way of speaking makes him look like a classic DC super-villain. Brother Blood is charismatic and extremely resourceful, having contingencies for contingences. It’s a shame we did not see more of him later on.

Trigon

Trigon

If there ever was an award for being the worst father in the universe, trigon would be the number one contender. A demonic entity, Trigon only lives to destroy and conquer. He sired a child who would one day join the Teen Titans as Raven. Raven was supposed to be the portal that allows Trigon to come to earth and take over. He is brutal and ruthless, going as far as hurting his own flesh and blood to get what he wants. His ability to create demonic duplicates of the other Teen Titans heroes makes him a Teen Titans Villain worthy of our respect.

Slade

Slade

He may not be the strongest of them all. But he is most certainly the greatest Teen Titans villain that graced the DC Animated Universe back in those days. Whenever Slade spoke, there was an eerie sense of calm and quiet that became too uncomfortable with each passing second. Despite having two superpowers, Slade remained s significant threat to the Titans. He was able to do something no other supervillain in the show could- cause a rift between the Teen Titans. DC did a really good job by giving him such a frightening aura.

Terra

Terra

What makes Terra a good villain is not because of her powers but because of how she utterly broke the chummiest and most happy go lucky member of the DC Universe. Manipulated by Slade, she infiltrates Teen Titans and becomes a member. Terra even manages to wrap beast Boy around her thumb, making him blindly believe in her. That is what makes her betrayal even more heart-breaking. When Terra finally snaps, beats Boy still tries to save her. In a latter episode, it is revealed that Terra is alive but has no memory of her traitorous past. Beats Boy tries to make her remember but fails. That episode was truly gut-wrenching.

Red X

Red X

The Teen Titans Villain Red X is a mistake Robin would have liked to stay buried. That seriously well-designed suit coupled with the unique red-tinged weapons make Red X a very nasty villain to cross paths with. Robin created the Red X persona as well as the suit. The anti-hero/villain always manages to stay a step ahead of the Teen Titans. But most importantly, Red X manages to get under robin’s skin – a rare sight indeed.
