‘Everyone gets to do what they want with their own face’: Nightmare on Elm Street Star Patricia Arquette, 54, Wants Plastic Surgery to Look Younger

American actress Patricia Tiffany Arquette is best known for her role as Kristen Parker in her debut film A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987). The 54-year-old actress recently opened up about how the pressure in Hollywood to look a certain way is very real, which is why Arquette is not opposed to going under the knife to remain youthful.

A blue-eyed actress, she comes from a family of actors and entertainers. She has played everything from hysterically funny to dreadfully terrifying roles in a career spanning more than two decades. A number of her award-winning performances were featured in films and TV series, including Wildflower, Medium, The Hi-Lo Country, and Boyhood. She is among 13 actresses, including Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, and Anne Hathaway, who have received the ‘Oscar,’ ‘BAFTA Award,’ ‘SAG Award,’ ‘Golden Globe Award,’ and ‘Critics’ Choice Award’ for a single film.

Patricia Arquette Won’t Ever Say No To Plastic Surgery

In New York City, Patricia Arquette, 54, attended the 2022 32nd Annual Gotham Awards at Cipriani Wall Street on November 28, 2022. On the night of the award function, the actress told Page Six exclusively about Hollywood’s peer pressure on the stars to look young and said,

“This is my own face and if tomorrow I decide to have a facelift, then I’m going to do it.”

The Severance star said,

“Everyone gets to do what they want their own face … but I understand why people feel that pressure.”

“[The look is] this, kind of, eternal ingénue, and you just don’t see it much in the human race. It’s kind of a Hollywood-specific look.”

According to the actress, Hollywood places a lot of pressure on actors to look a certain way. After describing her ability to overcome stress, Arquette explained how she does it.

She said,

“At the end of the day, there’s Hollywood and your relationship with Hollywood as an actor, and then there’s also your own relationship with yourself and the world around you.”

“What adventures do you want to have in this life? I feel very happy with where I am right now.”

As an actor, Arquette has appeared in movies like True Romance and Flirting with Disaster. In the last few years, she has received recognition for her work, which includes an Oscar for her role in Boyhood and two Emmy awards for The Act and Escape at Dannemora. As Harmony Cobel, the mysterious boss at Lumon Industries, Arquette is currently starring in the critically acclaimed series Severance.

Patricia Arquette Walked On the 2022 Gotham Awards’ Red Carpet

Patricia Arquette arrived on the red carpet for the 2022 Gotham Awards, which took place on Nov. 28 in New York City, dressed in an all-black ensemble that was perfect for the occasion. As a part of this year’s awards ceremony, the Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning actress donned a formfitting long-sleeve black gown with sheer and sequin striped sleeves by Fouy Chov Couture. The look was finished off with a black rock bag by Carat23.

The look for the event was created by Arquette and stylist LouAnna Rawls. Arquette opted for an understated make-up look with light pink lips, blush, and mascara. Her hair was parted to one side with a wavy style.

The actress had a big year in her television career as she was nominated for the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Apple TV+’s Severance. Julia Garner took home the award this year for Ozark.

In addition to pursuing her acting career, Arquette advocates for a more excellent representation of women in media and film. As a trailblazer herself, Arquette has paved the way for others.
