When it comes to Marvel, we have one too many romantic storylines. However, one that disappoints us is the romantic storyline between Thor and Jane Foster. Even on camera, they make a good couple. But Thor’s daddy issue really interfered with the relationship. Odin hates Jane and doesn’t even realise that she is the Mighty Thor.

Lucifer & Mazikeen

In DC’s Sandman and Lucifer comics, Lucifer briefly hooks up with Lilith’s daughter, Mazikeen. But when it comes to Satan, he has many issues such as his immortality and short attention span. Moreover, Lucifer even had a short relationship with Lilith which makes his hook up with Mazikeen even weirder. Even though they were together, their relationship took a hit when Lucifer refused to restore her half-blown face and Mazikeen decided to leave.

Betty Ross & Hulk

Once again, Marvel knows how to make a fan-favourite couple that will never come to fruition. Betty Ross and Hulk are already in a complicated relationship. Bruce Banner is always worried that he would simply Hulk out on his love interest and his immortality is also a big barrier. Even though Betty has tried to rekindle their relationship, the fear in Banner’s consciousness is always present.

Superman and Wonder Woman would make a pretty powerful couple and Lois-Clark Kent fans can complain all they want. But their relationship was always ill-fated because Wonder Woman is a solo star who was immediately made a supporting character for Superman. Moreover, Superman dropped a bomb on Diana by questioning his love after dating her for two years.

Black Canary & Green Arrow

Black Canary and Green Arrow is simply the most dysfunctional couple ever. Even though any fans approve of the couple, it is something that can simply never happen. Why are they so bad for each other you may ask? Well, Green Arrow is infamous for going rogue and leaving her behind. So yes, nothing is happening here.

Cyclops & Jean Grey

This is a golden couple of Marvel and has continued for generations for the X-Men fans. However, this ‘golden couple’ hasn’t really been faithful to each other on several occasions. For starters, Jean is famously known for her ‘moments’ with Wolverine and more recently with the Beast. On the other hand, Cyclops is somewhat tangled with Emma Frost and Psylocke. Clearly, they haven’t prioritised each other in the longer run. Which imperfect couple is your favourite? Let us know in the comments below!
