A movie’s success depends on the hype it makes before releasing. These days studios do not shy away from pumping in a stupendous amount of money for the marketing. Iron Man by Hans
2008 was the year that started it all. Iron Man gave birth to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the hype surrounding the movie is gigantic. Hence, designer Hans offered Marvel an alternative for the original poster. His work is simply outstanding as you can see above. The hand-drawn feeling that the poster gives is unique and catchy.
Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice
Yes, the DC world was more than excited for BvS but were somewhat disappointed with the film. The fans were disappointed with the final product as well as the marketing. Speaking of the posters, the original ones were too dark with an overload of grim. However, DeviantArt user Hobo95 proved that fewer elements can make a better product. The fan-made poster uses bats to create the symbol of Superman which is really creative.
If it wasn’t for Deadpool, then Fox and Ryan Reynolds were in some deep career-threatening moments. Deadpool was an absolute success and gave Reynolds a chance to prove that he was always meant to play this character. The Merc with a Mouth did the job commercially and reviews wise too. The original posters were amazing if we talk about the sexy pose and the crotch shot. designer Punmagneto did not disappoint as well. The fan-made poster clearly shows what it is like to be Deadpool.
Suicide Squad did not live up to the expectations and fans were pissed after watching the movie. Some believed that some of the castings were bad and some believed that the villain Enchantress was too much for the first outing for a team of misfits. The marketing tool wasn’t that great. The posters unnecessarily gave the feeling of the members being fun and edgy. On the bright side, Deviantart user Messy Panda tried to explore with a better-looking poster as you can see above.
The Dark Knight Trilogy
You can enjoy or not enjoy every Nolan’s movie in the trilogy, but it was a defining moment for all of blockbuster cinema and considered as one of the best trilogies.
