The 2016 drama between Kanye West and Taylor Swift over the lyrics of the song Famous

Kanye West released his song Famous in 2016. The song contained a line about the American singer Taylor Swift that made her fans mad after the song came out. The lyrics said, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x. Why? I made that bi**h famous.” The line was obviously derogatory to the Blank Space singer and her fans and representatives spoke out for her.

Ye West said that he had received Swift’s approval before releasing the song.

Taylor Swift mentioned that she had just approved posting the song on her Twitter Account

The representatives of the American singer came out with a statement that she did not know about all the lyrics. The statement said, “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account.” It was mentioned that Swift even warned Ye of using such “misogynistic comments” in the song. The statement further mentioned that she was not aware of the last part of the lyrics, especially of the part that called her a “bi**h“.
