Bargain shopping is always there around Black Friday, especially when it comes to new releases. However, it never hurts to get some old school stuff too, particularly if it’s offered for free.

GameStop is offering a promotion on 4GB Xbox 360 models where you can get the system for $0 or free, with the help of a mail-in rebate.

You can either purchase in-store systems or from the company’s website (although they’re out of stock right now but will most likely return). Customers can choose from white or black 4GB models. The system will be given along with a wireless controller and connection cables.

Upfront, one will have to pay $69.99 and taxes. After this, a claim will be filed on the GameStop Rebates page, where you will have to fill the information and serial number and also include a copy of the receipt. After this, wait for a few weeks and you’ll soon receive a VISA gift card with $69.99 on it.

So, save some tax and get an Xbox 360 system free of charge. The promotion will only go through tomorrow, ie. November 23. Here are some additional details:
