Gwyneth Paltrow Censored By Marvel At 'Avengers: Endgame' Premiere After A Slip Up

The whole Marvel family was in attendance for the red carpet world premiere of Avengers: Endgame. Along with everyone else, there was also Pepper Potts herself, Gwyneth Paltrow. Paltrow will reprise her role as Pepper Potts once more in Avengers: Endgame where her and Tony Stark’s bond will certainly be a focus.

Gwyneth Paltrow Slips Up At Avengers: Endgame Premiere

At the premiere, the audience watching the live stream got to see a little snippet of what fans can expect from atleast one such scene in the movie. But it could be considered a spoiler since Marvel edited it out of the version they posted on their YouTube channel. Although there could be more reasons for that.

At one point Gwyneth Paltrow was being interviewed with Chris Evans and Jon Favreau, and was asked about the last day of filming Endgame. She was asked when it all started sinking in that this was the end. Paltrow recalled one such moment which truly stood out to her, but then she seemed hesitant regarding whether she should share the fact. But she still said:

“I have an indelible moment from filming. I don’t know if it was the actual last day but, we were all together and shooting at this beautiful, on this beautiful lake in Atlanta and it was amazing to be with everybody. The casts of multiple movies…”

Then she moved on to asking Evans and Favreau- “Can I say that?”

. They, as expected, didn’t really have an answer to that. To which Paltrow replied with- “Oh s***”.

She didn’t elaborate any further regarding scene by the lake but she did finish off her answer by saying that:

“It’s just been an amazing experience to be a part of for all these 10 plus years and it’s very nostalgic and emotional and it’s wonderful to be here. We’re so excited.

Why Did Marvel Choose To Censor Her?

Marvel probably censored her sequence in their edited video for two reasons. One is because she said s***. The other could be because she mentioned having casts of multiple movies all at the same time by that lake. So it’s probably a part of the movie which they want to remain a secret.

Future Of Pepper Potts?

Gwyneth Paltrow has basically confirmed that she is retiring from the role of Pepper Potts. This is cause she feels like she has gotten too old for it. But she does mention that she will come back if they ever need her.
