The sequence was filmed for the season finale of the program, which aired on Monday, June 6 at 9 p.m. ET. The actress worked with Property Brothers Jonathan and Drew Scott to renovate her fifth-grade teacher Yvonne’s 1920s home. The brothers who help celebrities such as Ali Wong, Howie Mandel, Lisa Kudrow, Tiffany Haddish, and others surprise their loved ones with a beautiful home renovation feature in HGTV’s renowned home restoration series ‘Celebrity IOU.’ Many viewers were moved by the actress’s closeness with her teacher, and the episode starring her left many in tears.
