‘He cheated with 13 women?’: Jada Smith’s Red Table Talk Breaks Down One Tree Hill Star Jana Kramer, Makes Her Cry Tears of Shame
The latest guest to appear on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk is actress and singer Jana Kramer. A teaser for the episode that will stream later this week suggested that this one is going to be a tearjerker. The clip showed Mrs. Smith asking the One Tree Hill actor about her ex-husband, Mike Caussin’s infidelity, and the latter recalling the trauma and how it will now affect her forever.
Kramer and the former NFL player, split in 2021 after 6 years of marriage owing to Caussin’s cheating scandals. The former couple shares two children, daughter Jolie, six, and son Jace, three.
Mike Caussin broke Jana Kramer’s “dream”
The teaser showed The Matrix Resurrections actress asking Kramer, “Over time you found out he cheated with 13 women?” To this, the 38-year-old actress simply said, “More,” and got teary-eyed at the recollection.
For The Holiday Fix Up actress, the most heartbreaking part is having to split the time spent with her kids. She went on to say, “I know we’re both in better situations, but I think about this year, my kids won’t wake up in my house [on] Christmas day. That one’s gonna hurt.”
Jada Pinkett Smith then agreed with her guest, adding that it is a difficult process to bid adieu to one’s “familial dreams” when a relationship ends. Kramer replied, “That’s when I get like, ‘That’s not fair. You took away my dream, too, of what I wanted for my family.'”
And in the given case, Kramer lost out on her dream without having done any wrong and that part stings her as she yearns for her kids.
Mike Caussin has always had a cheating problem
The former NFL couple surprised their fans when they announced their split in April 2021. Kramer took to Instagram to share her side of the painstaking ordeal. She wrote in the post,
“It’s time. As I try to make sense of a reality I never wanted to believe could be possible again, those words have now become a reality. I’ve fought y’all. I’ve loved hard. I’ve forgiven. I’ve put the work in. I’ve given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give.
Please know that I still believe wholeheartedly in marriage, love, and rebuilding. I just can’t fight any longer. It’s time to heal.
Thank you for all the love, heart, and support, in many ways you have fought on this journey alongside me, and for that I am grateful. I’ll always encourage you to continue the good fight, but you can’t fight it alone.”
Kramer and Caussin’s relationship had been problematic from the beginning itself. The 35-year-old former player has never been a loyal chap. Back when they had started dating in 2014, it ended pretty soon and Kramer hinted that Caussin had cheated on her.
They got back together and tied the knot in 2015 only for Kramer to find out that her husband had been a cheating scum again and went behind her back with multiple women. Caussin sought treatment for sex addiction but apparently to no avail. They separated but yet, again reconciled in 2017. However, the couple ended it for good in 2021.
