August Alsina Indirectly Slams Jada Smith
August Alsina had a romantic affair with Jada Pinkett Smith while the latter was married to Will Smith. Although Jada Smith later confessed her affair to her husband, it was still a hurtful and uncomfortable topic for Will Smith. Further, ever since the infamous Oscar slap happened in 2022, Chris Rock diligently took the responsibility of reminding the actor about his wife’s entanglement with Alsina.
Even in the comedy special, Chris Rock brought up his routine of pulling apart the Smiths, ever since things turned personal after the slapgate incident. Although it was claimed by many, that the comedy special was orchestrated to slam the Smiths and other famous families, August Alsina out of all appreciated the bit. Sources revealed that the singer isn’t among the few who were disappointed by Rock’s comedy, instead, he was pleased with it.

Since the comedy special seemed an anti-Jada Smith dedication, to people’s surprise August Alsina appeared to support Chris Rock. Sources close to Alsina mentioned, “August watched the Netflix special and he laughed. He thought it was not only funny but truthful. That was the best part for him.” It seems the singer is currently rooting for Rock over his ex-girlfriend. Further, to fans’ surprise, sources revealed, “A lot of people spoke out against [Alsina]. So he was happy to see that Chris Rock seemed to be advocating for the truth and not just making a joke.”
Having personal reasons involved, Alsina appeared to go against Jada Smith, and indirectly slam her by appreciating Chris Rock’s Anti-Jada Smith comedy.
